New HT82A821R USB Speaker MCU September
1, 2006 Holtek Semiconductor has presently released its new
HT82A821R Basic USB Speaker OTP MCU. In addition to the
device's important characteristics of having a fully integrated USB 1.1 Serial Interface Engine and integrated digital to analog converter, it also incorporates a high power amplifier within its embedded microcontroller, giving related users a new platform for an even more expedient means of design and manufacturing. The additional advantages of being supplied as a One Time Programmable, OTP type, gives the device an intrinsic flexibility and advantage to respond quickly to any requirements for application modifications.
The
HT82A821R has, at its core, a Holtek 8-bit microcontroller, which includes 2Kx15 of Program Memory as well as 192x8 bytes of Data Memory. The usual range of comprehensive features that are integrated into Holtek microcontrollers are naturally included, of which include the usual Power-down and wake-up features. The
HT82A821R, which was specifically designed for the USB Speaker range of MCU devices, has a working voltage of 4.2V~5.5V, can operate at a maximum frequency of 12MHz, and contains 8 I/O lines. The outstanding characteristics of the
HT82A821R device, coupled with Holtek's excellent integrated MCU development tools and writers, give designers the means to quickly design and create customised devices, in turn providing customers with an even greater range of diverse products and business opportunities.
